Find the altitude if:
2. in a parallelogram, area = 132 cm and base = 11 cm
b. in a triangle, area = 132 cm' and base = 11 cm​

1) In the case of Parralleogram, the altitude (also called height) is

Area = Base * Height

132 = 11 * Height

Height = 132 / 11 = 12

HEIGHT = 12

2) Inc Case of the triangle, the altitude is

Area = 1/2 * Base * Height

132 = 1/2 * 11 * Height

132 = 5.5 * Height

Height = 132 / 5.5 = 24

HEIGHT = 24
