find the altitude of a rhombus whose area and perimeter are 98 CM square and 28 CM respectively

Here's ur answer...


perimeter of rhombus=28cm

length of the side=28/4

=7cm

area of the rhombus=98cm²

here the side of rhombus be base.

b×h=98cm²

7×h=98cm²

h=98/7

h=14

hence, altitude of rhombus is 14cm.

all \: sides \: of \: a \: rhombus \: are \: congruent \:

so \: perimeter = 4 \times side \:
28 = 4 \times side

 \frac{28}{4} = side

7 = side

side \: = 7cm

area = base \times height

98 = 7 \times height

 \frac{98}{7} = height

14 = height

height = 14cm
Therefore,
Altitude of the rhombus=14cm
