Find the altitude of a rhombus whose diagonals are 24 cm and 18cm

a²=(24/2)² + (18/2)²,

a²=12² + 9²,

a²=144 + 81,

a²=225,

then

a=√225,

a=15 cm,


therefore

Base × height = 1/2 × Ist diagonal × IInd digonal,


then

15 × height =1/2 × 24 × 18,

15 × height =12×18,

then

height =14.4 cm
