1÷2 ×base ×altitude=area of triangle

1/2×28×altitude=224

14 × altitude =224

altitude =16

area of triangle = 224 m sq.

area of a triangle = 1/2 x b x h

224 = 1/2 x 28 x h

h = 448/28

h = 16 m

so altitude is equal to 16 m
