We know that in an equilateral triangle all sides are equal.
Side of a equilateral triangle= 8 cm
Area of the equilateral triangle= √3/4×a2
=(√3/4×8×8) sq.cm
=(64√3/4) sq.cm
=(64×1.73/4) sq.cm
=(16×1.73) sq.cm
=27.68 sq.cm
Now,
Height of the equilateral triangle =(√3/2×a) cm
=(√3/2×8) cm
=(4√3) cm
(4×1.73) cm
=6.92 cm
