we all know that the sides of a rhombus are equal.
So let length of a side = x
perimeter of rhombus = 64m
perimeter of rhombus = 4 × side
=> 4×x = 64
=> x = 64/4
= 16m
so sides of the rhombus is 16m each.
area of rhombus = 48m²
area of rhombus = base/ side × height/ altitude
[ since rhombus is a parallelogram ]
16 × altitude = 48
=> altitude = 48/16
= 3m
So the altitude of the rhombus us 3m
