8 Ampere is the answer.

the equivlant resistance will sum upto 11/8 Ohm.

and voltage is 11 v.

so Current I=V/R =11/(11/8)=8Ampere

OLegion: i get it as 11/8....
OLegion: maybe i am wrong somewhere..
OLegion: just asking is the answer 3 ampere?
Starkls: taking all r as parallel did u put answer upside down
Starkls: I don't know the answer
OLegion: now i did it again... and yes... i did put it as (3/8) +1 in end... but the correct one was (8/3) +1 =11/3 Ohm...
OLegion: so.. i= v/r =11/(11/3)=3Ampere.
Starkls: can u send the fig
OLegion: i cant in this question....it wont allow me.... can you ask a new question... i can post the answer there...
Starkls: ok
