Answer: 3ampere

Explanation:

  • moving towards Q there is a resistance of 6ohms which in series with whole circuit joining Q forward
  • From Q current is divide into two wires which means resistance on both wires are in parallel
  • Q is furthur divide into two wires again there is a small parallel combination

Now 5 ohm and 7ohm are in series hence there resistance is 5+7=12ohm

Now 6ohm and 12ohm resistance are in parallel hence there effective resistance is 4ohm

Now 4ohm and 8ohm resistance are in parallel hence there effective resistance is 8/3 ohm

Now 1 ohm and 8/3 ohm resistance are in series there effective resistance is 11/3ohm

Hence effective resistance of circuit is 11/3ohm

voltage is 11V

Than current is V/R

Hence current =3A

Reading of Ammeter=3
