Time =2 year

Rate = 10%

we know that ,

a = p(1 +  \frac{r}{100} ) {}^{t}  \\

  • Putting the values in this question

a = 2500(1 +  \frac{10}{100} ) {}^{2}  \\ a = 2500( \frac{110}{100} ) {}^{2}  \\ a = 2500( \frac{11}{10} ) {}^{2}  \\ a = 25\cancel0\cancel0 \:   \times  \frac{11}{1\cancel0}  \times  \frac{11}{1\cancel0}  \\  a = 25 \times 11 \times 11 \\  = 3025 \: dollars \:  \\

amount =$3025

now ,

compound interest = amount - principle

=$ 3025 - $2500 rs.

= $525
