Step-by-step explanation:

given: P = Rs 5000, n = 3, r = 5 paise per one rupee = 5%

A = P [ 1 + r/100]ⁿ

=> A = 5000 [ 1 + 5/100]³

=> A = 5000 [ 21/20]³

=> A = 5000 × 21×21×21/20×20×20

=> A = Rs 5788.125

Given :

Investment of Rs. 4500 at 5 paise per rupee interest for 2 years.

To find :

Final amount after maturity for 2 years.

Solution :

100 paisa = 1 Rupee

Converting 5 paisa to rupee

5 paisa =

 \frac{5}{100}

= 0.05 rupee

Therefore, Interest will be paid per rupee = 0.05 rupee

Therefore, For Rs. 4500 interest will be paid = 4500 × 0.05 = Rs. 225

Therefore, For 2 years interest will be = 225 × 2 = Rs. 450

Final amount = Principal amount + interest = 4500 + 450 = Rs. 4950

Final amount from the investment of Rs. 4500 would be Rs. 4950
