Find the Amount of Mixed Water
A vessel contains 56 litres of a mixture of milk and water in ratio 5 : 2. How much water should be mixed with it so that the ratio of milk to water may be 4 : 5?

see, when the ratio is 5:2 that means the total parts of the mixture are 7.. that means each part contains 8 litres of milk.. that means there is 40 litres of milk and 16 litres of water... 
but see when the ratio is 4:5 (milk to water) the total parts are 9 so you have divide 56 by 9 which approximately comes to 6.22223... we consider this 6.23 so the part of milk is approximately 24.892 and the remaning is water...
