Solution:

P = 6250  Rs

R = 8 %

n = 2   years

A = P ( 1 + R/100)ⁿ

A = 6250 ( 1 + 8/100)²

=> A = 6250 ( 1 + 2/25)²

=> A =  6250 ( 27/25)²

=> A = 10 ( 27)²

=> A = 7290

Amount after 2 years =  Rs 7290

Compound Interest = A - P

= 7290 - 6250

= 1040 Rs

Compound Interest = 1040 Rs
