Given :-

Diameter of ball = d= 28 cm

To Find :-

Amount of water displaced

Solution :-

As we Know that ball can remove the water only the amount of its volume.

 \blue{ \mathtt {\: Volume \:  of  \: ball =   \frac{4}{3} \pi  {r}^{3} }} \\

  • Radius of ball = 28/2 = 14 cm

 \blue{ \mathtt {\: Volume \:  of  \: ball =   \frac{4}{3} \times   \frac{22}{7}  \times   {14}^{3} }} \\

 \blue{ \mathtt {\: Volume \:  of  \: ball =   \frac{4}{3} \times   \frac{22}{7}  \times   {14}^{3} }} \\

 \blue{ \mathtt {\: Volume \:  of  \: ball =   11498.66 \:  \:  {cm}^{3}  }} \\

 \blue{ \mathtt {\: Amount  \: of \:  water  \: displaced =   11498.66 \:  \:  {cm}^{3}  }} \\

Or

 \blue{ \mathtt {\: Amount  \: of \:  water  \: displaced =   11.5\:  \: liter \:  \: approx }} \\

  • Note
  •  \tt{ \orange{ \: 1 \: liter \:  = 1000 {cm}^{3} }}

\huge\mathfrak{✰ Solution}

• We have found that 11498.66 cm3 cm of water is displaced by a spherical ball of diameter 28 cm and 0.004851 m3 of water is displaced by a spherical ball of the diameter of 0.21 m.
