Hey dear!!
___________________________________________

(a)
Principal = P = RS.1200
Rate of interest = R = 12% p.a.
Time = T = 3 years

Simple interest = PTR/100
= 1200 × 3 × 12/100
= RS.432

Therefore, amount = Principal + Interest
= RS.1200 + RS.432
= RS.1632

Ans: The amount is RS. 1632.

(b)
Principal = P = RS. 7500
Time = T = 3 years
Rate of interest = R = 5% p.a.

Simple interest = PTR/100
= 7500 × 3 × 5/100
= RS.1125

Therefore, amount = Principal + Interest
= RS. 7500 + RS.1125
= RS.8625

Ans: The amount is RS.8625.

(a) Given P = 1200, R = 12%, T = 3 years.

We know that SI = P*R*T/100

                            = 1200 * 12 * 3/100

                            = 43200/100

                            = 432.

We know that Amount = Principal + Interest

                                      = 1200 + 432

                                      = 1632.

The amount to be paid = 1632 rupees.

(b) Given P = 7500, R = 5%, T = 3 years.

We know that SI = PRT/100

                            = 7500 * 5 * 3/100

                            = 112500/100

                            = 1125.

We know that Amount = Principal + Interest

                                      = 7500 + 1125

                                      = 8625.

The amount to be paid = 8625 rupees.

Hope this helps!
