Solution

Given :-

  • P = Rs. 5,000
  • T = 2 years
  • R = 10%

Find :-

  • S.I. & Amount

Explanation

Using Formula

\boxed{\underline{\tt{\red{\:S.I.\:=\dfrac{P\times R\times T}{100}}}}}

Where,

  • P = Rs. 5,000
  • T = 2 years
  • R = 10%

==> S.I. = 5,000 × 2 × 10/100

==> S.I. = 500 × 2

==> S.I. = Rs. 1,000

Now, Calculate Amount

Amount = S.I. + P

Keep Value of S.I. & P

Where,

  • S.I. = Rs 1000
  • P = 5,000

==> Amount = 1000 + 5,000

==> Amount = Rs 6,000

Hence

  • Amount. will be = Rs. 6,000

Step-by-step explanation:

simple interest = p×n×r/ 100

5000×2×10 / 100

1000

Amount = principal + S.I.

5000 + 1000

6000
