using formula - (11/2)×48-(30×4) =144°
and using common sense - The hour hand takes 30° for every hour, and minute hand takes 6° for every minute and 0.5° for every hour. So take time as 4:50
that is the hour and minute hand at the 4 and 10 and take difference hours i.e. 10-4=6 and multiply 6 with 30° bcoz hour hand takes 30° for every hour , 6×30=180° and minutes divided by 0.5° , i.e 24 and subtract 180-24-12(the minute hand is not exactly at the 10, 2min difference so 2×6) = 144°
