We know,
The sum of two complementary angles = 90 degrees.
Let the given angle be x.
Let it’s complement be y.
Given- x is equal to its complement, ie x=y
According to the Question,
x + y = 90 degrees
x + x = 90 degrees ( x = y)
2x = 90 degrees
x = 90/2
x = 45 degrees
Thus, the required angle is equal to 45 degrees.
