Given :   line segment AB  A(√3,-1) B(√3,1)

To Find  : angle subtended by the line segment AB at origin

Solution:

Slope of A with origin

A(√3,-1) , ( 0, 0)

Slope = -1/√3

Slope of B with origin

A(√3, 1) , ( 0, 0)

Slope =  1/√3

-1/√3 *  1/√3  = - 1

=> OA ⊥ OB

Hence angle subtended by the line segment AB at origin is 90°
