Given :

  • Angle which is 80 more than its complement.

To find :

  • The angle

According to the question,

Let the angle be x

And,complement angle means 90°

So,

→ x = (90 - x) + 80

→ x = 90 - x + 80

→ x + x = 90 + 80

→ 2x = 170

→ x = 170 ÷ 2

.°. x = 85°

So,the angle is 85°...

Answer:-

Given:-

One angle is 80° more than it's complement.

To Find: The angle’s magnitude (in degrees).

ᴘᴀɴᴛʜᴇʀɪᴏ ᴋɴᴏᴡʟᴇᴅɢᴇ sᴄᴀʀ:-

  • Sum of complementary angles = 90°
  • Sum of supplementary angles = 180°

_________...

Let one of the angle be = a

∴ Second angle = (90 - a)°

Sum of complementary angles = 90°

ᴀᴄᴄᴏʀᴅɪɴɢ ᴛᴏ ᴛʜᴇ ǫᴜᴇsᴛɪᴏɴ:-

a° = (90 - a)° + 80°

⟹ a° = 90° - a° + 80°

⟹ a° + a° = 90° + 80°

⟹ 2a° = 170°

⟹ a° = 170°/2 = 85°

REQUIRED ANSWER:-

The angle was of 85°.
