let x be 1st angle and y second
y = 2x
x + y = 180
x +2x = 180
3x = 180
x = 60
y = 2x = 120

Answer:

60° angle is double of its supplement.

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1:

Let us assume A be the angle / supplement.

Step 2:

So the equation be

A + 2 A = 180°.

Step 3:

Simplify the equation

3 A = 180°.

Step 4:

Bring A to the RHS and find the value of A.

Step 5:

A = 180 / 3.

A = 60° .

Thus,

2 A = 120° which is double 60°
