the angle which is equal to its supplement is 90 degrees. Note – Whenever it is asked to find the supplement or complement of any angle then assume the angle to be x and y and then put their sum is 180 degrees (if supplementary) or 90 degrees (if complementary), then find the value of the angles.

Let the required angle be x°

Therefore, it's supplement = (180 - x)°

Now, x = 180 - x

= x + x = 180

= 2x = 180°

Therefore x = 180/2 = 90°
