Let an angle be x° and it's supplement is 180-x°

Angle is 1/5 th of its supplement.

x = 1/5 of 180-x

5x = 180-x

6x= 180

Angle x = 30°

It's supplement is 180-30° = 150°

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the measure of the angle be r.

∴ The measure of its supplement angle is (180° - r).

Using the given information, we get

 \bf \: r =  \frac{1}{5} (180 \degree - r) \\

→ 5r = 180° - r

→ 5r + r = 180°

∴ 6r = 180°

→ r = 180° ÷ 6

→ r = 30°

Hence, the measure of the required angle is 30°
