Find the angle which is 4 Times of its supplement.

Solution :-

Let, the angle be x and y.

now, as we know that the sum of 2 supplementary angles is 180°

We come at the expression :–

• x + y = 180°

but it is given that y is 4 Times of x.

So, the equation comes out to be :-

→ x° + 4x° = 180°

→ 5x° = 180°

→ x = $\frac{180°}{5}$

→ x = 36°

Hence,

the required angle is 36°
