6(90-x) = 180 - x

540 - 6x = 180 - x

540 - 180 = 6x - x

5x = 360

x = 360/5

x = 72°

The angle is 72°

Hope it helps.

If sum of two angles equals to 90 degree they are said to be complement
If sum of two angles equals to 180 degree then they are said to be supplement .

So,
Let angle be x
So supplement =180-x
Complement of angle =90-x
So,
180-x=6(90-x)
180-x=540-6x
6x-x=540+180
5x=720
x=144

Angle equals to 144

Hope this helps you !!!
