$\tan( \frac{x}{2} ) = \tan(90 - 2x)$

$tan \: \: is \: \: removed \: \: on \: \: both \: \: sides$

$\frac{x}{2} = 90 - 2x$

$x + 4x = 180$

$5x = 180$

$x = 36$
