Find the angles of a triangle when are in the ratio 2:3:4​

Let the angles be 2k, 3k and 4k.

Sum of interior angles of a triangle = 180°

∴ 2k + 3k + 4k = 180°

⇒ 9k = 180°

⇒ k = 20°.

Thus, the angles are 40°, 60° and 80°.

Tip: Sum up all the values and check it's correctness. See whether LHS is equal to RHS.
