Find the angles of the parallelogram ABCD if (i) angle A : angle B = 2:7 (ii) angle C = 2/3 angle D

Let angles be 2x and 7x

angle C: angle D = 2 :3

and angles be 2y and 3y

Angle B = angle D

7x = 3y

x =3y/7

Sum of angles of a quadrilateral= 360°

angle A + angle B + angle C + angle D= 360°

2x + 7x + 2y + 3 y = 360°

9 × 3y/7 + 5y = 360°

27y/7 + 5y = 360°

62y/7 = 360°

y = 35°

and x= 3× 35/7 = 15°

Now find the values of angles.
