length of pole = 10 m (perpendicular)

Shadow = 10√3 m (base)

Tanθ = P/B

10/10√3

1/√3

Tan(30°)= 1/√3

Therefore, elevation of the sun is 30°

Answer:

BC = Length of shadow = 15metre√3

∴ tanθ =

AB= 15= √3BC (15 / √3)

⇒ tanθ = tan60°

⇒ θ = 60°
