Answer:

2x²-5x+3

2x²-2x-3x+3

2x(x-1)-3(x-1)

(2x-3)(x-1)

2x-3=0 and x-1=0

x=3/2 and x=1

\huge\bold{Solution:-}

We need to factories :-

  • 2x² - 5x + 3 = 0

By splitting the middle term

⇒ 2x² - 2x - 3x + 3 = 0

Taking Common,

⇒ 2x [ x - 1 ] - 3 [ 1 - 1 ] = 0

Taking Common again

⇒ [ x - 1] [ 2x - 3 ] = 0

Hence , factorised :-

  • Quadratic polynomial : + ( sum of roots ) x - product of roots
  • Roots of quadratic equation : x = - b ±b² - 4ac/2a
  • sum of roots : - coefficient of x/coefficient of
  • Product of roots : constant term/ coefficient of
