(z-5/2)x8=3z
z-5/2=3z/8
z/1-3z/8=5/2
8z-3z/8=5/2
5z/8=5/2
z=5/8x2/5
=4

let us consider a number = x

Amine subtracts 5/2 from x

then multiplies result by 8

the reslt obtained is 3x..

the equation is ....
8[x-5/2]=3x
8x-20=3x
transpose (-20) to RHS
5x=20
tanspose 5 to RHS
x=20/5
x=4
