            it comes in the form of paper strips of 2 colours red and blue.

1.red litmus does not react with acids and it turns blue in bases

2.blue litmus does not react with bases and turns red  in acids

3.neutral solutions do not affect the colour of litmus paper in other words the red and blue litmus paper show no colour change in neutral solutions.
