Given:-

• Distance covered by train ,s = 550km

• Time taken ,t = 6hours

To Find:-

• Average speed of train in km/h and m/s.

Solution:-

As we know that Average Speed is defined as the total distance by total time taken.

→ Av.Speed = Total Distance/Total time

Average speed of train in km/h

→ Av.Speed = 550/6

→ Av.Speed = 91.66km/h

∴ The av.speed of train in km/h is 91.66km/h

Now speed of train in m/s

From above we have calculated the speed of train in km/h so ,by multiplying 5/18 we convert the speed of train in m/s

→ 91.66×5/18m/s = 25.46m/s

∴ The average speed of train in m/s is 25.46m/s
