SOLUTION.....

Let, the present age of A be x years and present age of B is y years.
A.T.Q.
x + y = 60............. eq.1

Now,
Three years ago -
Age of A be (x-3) years, and
Age of B be (y-3) years.
A.T.Q.
(x-3)/(y-3) = 4/5
5x-15 = 4y-12
5x-4y = -12+15
5x-4y = 3................ eq.2
Now multiply eq.1 by 4
So we get
4x + 4y = 240...........eq.3

Adding eq.2 and eq.3
we get,
9x = 270
x = 30
Now put value of x in eq.1.
Then, y = 30.
So, The ages of A and B or both are 30years each.
Now,
Three years hence-
Age of A is 33. --------(30+3 = 33)
And
Age of B is 33.

Hope this will help you....☺☺
