YOUR ANSWER:-

Let us first find the diameter of the circle.

we know that triangle ABC is right angled at C .

hence by using Pythagoras theorem we will get,

(AB)^2=(AC)^2+(BC)^2

(AB)^2=(24)^2+(10)^2

(AB)^2=576+100

(AB)^2=676

AB=root (676)=26cm i.e. the diameter of the circle .

hence the radius = 26 ÷2= 13 cm.

now let us find the area of the circle=

\pi \: r {}^{2}

 = 3.14 \times  {13}^{2}

 = 530.66 \: cm {}^{2}

so area of half of the circle ,

=530.66÷2

=265.33cm^2

now let us find the area of the triangle ABC:

 = 1 \div 2(b)(h)

 = 1 \div 2(10) (24)

 = 5 \times 24

 = 120 \: cm {}^{2}

therefore the area of the shaded area is ,

=area of the semicircle -area of the triangle

=265.33-120

=145.33 cm^2 is your answer...
