Hey friend,
Here is the answer you were looking for:
given \\ x - \frac{1}{x} = 3 \\ \\ using \: the \: identity \\ {(a - b)}^{3} = {a}^{3} - {b}^{3} - 3ab(a - b) \\ \\ here \\ let \: a \: be \: x \\ and \: b \: be \: \frac{1}{x} \\ \\ so \\ \\ {(x - \frac{1}{x} )}^{3} = {(3)}^{3} \\ \\ {(x)}^{3} - {( \frac{1}{x}) }^{3} - 3 \times x \times \frac{1}{x} (x - \frac{1}{x} ) = 27 \\ \\ {x}^{3} - \frac{1}{ {x}^{3} } - 3(3) = 27 \: \: \: \: \: \: (x - \frac{1}{x} = 3) \\ \\ {x}^{3} - \frac{1}{ {x}^{3} } - 9 = 27 \\ \\ {x}^{3} - \frac{1}{ {x}^{3} } = 27 + 9 \\ \\ {x}^{3} - \frac{1}{ {x}^{3} } = 36

Hope this helps!!!!
