2a+10d=52
Dividing each one by 2,
a+5d=26-----eq.2
Now,
Subtracting eq.2 from eq.1
a+9d=46
- a+5d=26

4d=20
therefore, d=5
Substituting value of d in eq. 1
a+9d=46
But d=5,
a+9*5=46
a=1
therefore,
a=1 and d=5
