Find the ap of whose first term is 4 and common difference is -3​

let first term of AP be a1=4

and common difference be d=-3

we know that,

nth term in an AP is,

an=a1+(n-1)d

second term a2= a1+(2-1)d

=4+(1)(-3)

=4-3

a2=1

third term a3=a1+(3-1)d

=4+(2)(-3)

=4-6

a3 =-2

fourth term a4=a1+(4-1)d

=4+(3)(-3)

=4-9

a4=-5

On continuing the process we get the required series.

The required series of AP is 4,1,-2,-5,-8............................,..................
