- The term of AP is 2n-1
- The term of an AP is given by the formula,
where, a is the first term of AP and d is the common difference of AP
- 2n - 1 = a + nd - d
- Comparing both sides we get,
2n = nd (Equation 1)
-1 = a - d (Equation 2)
Using equation 1
d = 2
- Substituting the value of d in equation 2 we get.
a = 1
- Therefore, first term(a) is 1 and common difference(d) is 2.
- The AP becomes 1,3,5,7,9,....
