find the are of a circle whose diameter is 7 km​

GIVEN :

Diameter of circle = 7 km

SOLUTION :

So , by the help of diameter we can find radius of circle . As we know that formula for finding radius is  \frac{diameter}{2}

 \sf{ radius = \frac{7}{2}  = 3.5}

 \sf{area \: of \: circle \:  = \pi {r}^{2} }

{ π = 3.14}

 \sf{ =  \: 3.14 \times  ({3.5})^{2} } \\  \\  \sf { \:  =  \: 38.465 }

Hence, the area of circle whoes diameter is 7km is 38.465
