Area of shaded region=Area of square -Area of circle

Area of square = s*s

=21*21

= 441 m

Area of circle= π r²

Diameter= 21 m (because the circumference of the circle is touching the side of the square)

radius=diameter/2

=21/2

=1.5 m

Area of circle= π r²

= 22/7*1.5*1.5

= 7.07m

Area of shaded region=Area of square -Area of circle

Area of shaded region=  (441-7.07) m

Area of shaded region=  433.93 m
