Answer:

Whenever we are given these types of problems :

Consider π as 3.14 when the radius is not divisible by 7.

If radius was 7 cm then it was OK.

But here radius is 6 cm and so it is better to take π as 3.14 .

Area of sector is given by :

π r² × Ф / 360°

Given Ф = 60° .

Area of sector = π r² × 60° / 360°

                       = π r² × 1 / 6

                       = 3.14 × 6 × 6 × 1/6

                       = 3.14 × 6

                         = 18.84

The area of sector is 18.84 cm²

Answer:

132/7 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that

r (radius) = 6cm

and angle of sector = 60°

area of sector of circle = (θ/360°) × πr2

= 60/360 × 22/7× (6)²

= 1/6 × 22/7 × 36

= 6× 22/7

= 132/7 cm²
