Area = area of bigger semi circle - area of 2semicircles

ANS : 154

(B)

AREA OF SQ, - AREA OF 4 SEMI CIRCLES

ANS: 42

SREA OF bigger semi circle = 1/2 (22/7 × 14 × 14)=308

Area of 2 smaller semicircle = 1 complete circle

So, 22/7 ×7×7= 154

Area of shaded region= 308-154

ANS = 154 CM²

(B) AREA OF SQUARE = 14²=196

AREA OF 4 QUATER CIRCLES = 4×1/4×22/7×7²=154

SO SHADED REGION = 196-154=42CM²
