given, the diameter of the circle = 3.5 = 7/2 cm

radius of circle = 1/2 ×7/2 = 7/4

circumference = 2πr = 2×22/7×7/4 = 11cm

area of circle = πr2

= 22/7 × 7/4 × 7/4 = 77/8 cm = 9.625cm
