a) Area of square = side.side = 2(2) = 4cm^2.

Perimeter of square = 4(side) = 4(2)= 8cm.

b) Area of rectangle= l(b) = 4(2) = 8cm^2.

Perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b) = 2(6) = 12.

area of rectangle= L×B

=4×2

= 8cm

perimeter of rectangle=2[L+B]

=2[4+2]

=2[6]

=2×6

=12 cm
