Answer:

First divide the rectangle into 3 rectangles

In the left side rectangle clearly:

l=9m

b=2m

Area of 1st rectangle=l×b

=9×2

=18m^2

In the middle rectangle:

l=4.5m+1.5m+1m

=7m

b=2.5m

Area of 2nd rectangle=l×b

=2.5m×7m

=17.5m^2

In the 3rd rectangle clearly:

l=18m

b=1m

Area of 3rd rectangle=l×b

=18m×1m

=18m^2

Therefore,area of the given figure:

Area of 1st rectangle+Area of 2nd rectangle+Area of 3rd rectangle

=18m^2+17.5m^2+18m^2

53.5m^2

Now,in same way we find the perimeter

Since,l and b we know hence perimeter,

Formula:

2(l+b)

Calculation:

Perimeter of 1st rectangle+Perimeter of 2nd rectangle+Perimeter of 3rd rectangle

2(9+2)+2(2.5+7m)+2(18+1)

2(11m)+2(9.5m)+2(19m)

22m+19m+28m

50m+19m

69m
