Answer:

If pie is taken as 22/7 then:-

Area of circle with radius 14 cm is 616 cm^2.

Perimeter of circle with radius 14 cm is 88 cm.

If pie is taken as 3.14 then:-

Area of circle with radius 14 cm is 615.44 cm^2.

Perimeter of circle with radius 14 cm is 87.92 cm.

✒️GIVEN☃️

  • Radius of the Circle\circ = 14cm

✒️TO FIND☃️

  • Area of circle = ?
  • Perimeter of circle = ?

✒️SOLUTION☃️

here,

we know that,

Area of the Circle = π

where,

  • Radius = 14cm
  • value of π = \bold{\frac{22}{7}}

substituting these values in area of circle we got

 \bold{ Area \:  of  \: the  \: Circle =  \pi r²} \\ \bold{  \implies \frac{22}{7}  \times  {(14)}^{2} } \\   \bold{\implies \frac{22}{ \cancel7} \times \cancel{ 196} } \\  \bold{ \implies 22 \times 28}   \\  \bold{ \implies616 {cm}^{2} }

Hence, area of the Circle = 616 cm²

now,

we know that,

Perimeter of the Circle = 2 × π × r

where,

  • Radius = 14cm
  • Radius = 14cmvalue of π = \bold{\frac{22}{7}}

substituting these values in perimeter of circle we got

 \bold{ Perimeter  \: of \:  the  \: Circle = 2  \times   \pi  \times  r} \\ \bold{  \implies 2 \times \frac{22}{7}  \times  14} \\   \bold{\implies2 \times  \frac{22}{ \cancel7} \times \cancel{ 14} } \\  \bold{ \implies 2 \times 22 \times 2}   \\  \bold{ \implies88 cm }

Hence, Perimeter of the Circle = 88 cm
