area= figure 1 = 14 × 16 = 226 cm

figure 2 = 20-14=6×16÷2=6×8=48 cm

total area = 226 + 48 cm = 274 cm area

perimeter of first figure = 14+16+14+16=60

perimeter of second figure = 6+6=12

total perimeter = 60+12 =72 cm

perimeter = 72 cm , area = 274 cm
