We know that

and

Perimeter of that rectangle is given by

And

Area of that rectangle is given by

area \:  =  \: l  \times b

Here in this question,

l = 7m

and

b=8m

So

perimeter = 2( 7 + 8) \\  = 2 \times 15 \\  = 30 {m}

And

area = 7 \times 8 \\  = 56 {m}^{2}
