Hello,
we calculate the side of a square plot:
L=d/√2=15/√2=10.6 m
we calculate the perimeter:
P=L×4=10.6×4=42.4 m
we calculate the area:
A=L²=10.6²= 112.36 m²
bye :-)

it is preferable to keep √2 as it is when finding L.. as A is more difficult to calculate by hand.

SQuare:
side = a
Diagonal = √2 a
so √2 a = 15 m
a = 15/√2 m
perimeter of square = 4 a = 4 * 15/√2 = 30 √2 m
Area = a² = (15/√2)² = 225/2 = 112.5 m²
side = a
Diagonal = √2 a
so √2 a = 15 m
a = 15/√2 m
perimeter of square = 4 a = 4 * 15/√2 = 30 √2 m
Area = a² = (15/√2)² = 225/2 = 112.5 m²
