Hey there!!

What is a diagonal in a square?

Ans : The hypotenuse of one of the two triangles present in the square.

According to the question, the hypotenuse is 14 meters. We will need to find the side of the square in order to find the area and the perimeter of the square.

Formula for area = ( side ) ( side )

Formula for perimeter = ( 4 ) ( sides )

Pythagorean formula = a^2 + b^2 = c^2

to find the side = ( take a side as ' x ' )

x^2 + x^2 = ( 14 ) ( 14 )

2x^2 = 196

x^2 = 98

side = root98

side = 9.89

perimeter = 39.56 meters

area = 97.81 m^2

HOPE MY ANSWER HELPS!!

Good night!
